Seminar Overview
Unfortunately, the house of worship that once was respected environments are no longer safe havens. The calculated use of threat and violence intended to coerce or intimidate the church is a growing epidemic. Crime trends typically occurring in rural and urban communities are now spilling into worship environments. Shooting of pastors during services, domestic violence in the church parking lot, gang-related retaliations at funeral services, sex offenders volunteering for church activities, the list is endless.
Clergy and church managers must now do something proactive to protect their house of worship from civil and criminal liabilities.
